Student Ambassador Application

A Catholic Memorial Student Ambassador accepts the following responsibilities:

  • Be aware, that as a Student Ambassador, you are a full- time representative of CMH, not just during Grade School Visits, Open House, and other school related activities.
  • Exemplify Christian values and ideals.
  • Be a positive role model in and outside of school.
  • Be willing to learn about clubs and activities in which you may not be involved.
  • Be responsible and proactive for time and work missed in school.
  • Be able to train, assist, and support other Student Ambassadors.
  • Be able to speak comfortably in front of small and large groups of students and adults.
  • Be able to relate and interact with students and adults.
  • Be willing to take on a leadership role within your Student Ambassador small group.
  • Check Teams and CMH email daily for communication of Student Ambassador activities.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Maintain minimal number of tardies and absences.
    • Moderators will be in regular communication with Mrs. Anderson and teachers regarding Student Ambassador attendance.
  • Comply with Student Handbook.
  • HAVE THE WILLINGNESS, EXCITEMENT, AND DEDICATION TO TAKE ON THIS IMPORTANT CHALLENGE!

PLEASE NOTE: Upon completion of the form below, you will be sent a confirmation email. Returning student ambassadors do not need to select an interview time.

UPDATE (as of 5/21/24 at 3:30 pm): All interview slots have been filled. Please reach out to Ms. McCourt on Teams to schedule your 10 minute interview.

Interview Times are 10 minutes long and available during the following times:

  • Monday, May 20th – 11:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Tuesday, May 21st – 11:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Wednesday, May 22nd –    11:30 am – 3:00 pm

(Memorial, Trust, Professionalism, Faith, Inclusiveness, Respect, Excellence, and Caritas in Omnibus)

Please consider the time commitment with both IB and Student Ambassadors when applying.

We make every effort possible to work around student school and athletic schedules. We do, however, require a serious commitment from each Student Ambassador. We will expect all students chosen for the Student Ambassador program to attend all of the training sessions unless there is a conflict with an athletic competition. Please consider this commitment when applying. If you have a job, we do expect you to make arrangements with your employer to take off the days of the summer training day, following training sessions, and Open House. You will be given additional training session dates over the summer. PLEASE CONSIDER ALL OF YOUR COMMITMENTS WHEN APPLYING TO BECOME A STUDENT AMBASSADOR.
