Announcing NEW Bus Service to/from CMH!

We are pleased to announce that Catholic Memorial High School will be offering NEW school bus transportation beginning with the 2018-2019 school year!
Thanks to an overwhelming response to the bussing survey taken earlier this year, the wheels are in motion to provide convenient, low-cost bus transportation service beginning this fall.

Safe and reliable school bus transportation will be provided by First Student, a highly recognized and respected school bus transportation company. Bus service will be available to and from CMH via two routes servicing 6 convenient drop-off/pick-up locations. These locations were chosen based on the priority rankings of the survey participants.
Important Note: Families that reside in the New Berlin and Waukesha School Districts will still receive bussing via those districts as they have been. This service has not changed.
We anticipate a high demand for our new bus service, and highly recommend early registration to ensure availability for your child(ren). You may contact Sue Lehsten at 262-542-7101 or slehsten@catholicmemorial.net with questions.

We are excited to provide increased convenience and accessibility to a Catholic Memorial experience to more families!

  • Bussing FAQs

How do I sign my student up for the new bussing service?
Click on "CMH Bussing Application" on the right. Fill out the form and turn it in to the Catholic Memorial Front Office with payment enclosed.

What is the cost of the new bussing service?
The fee is $400 per year per student.

How were the new routes determined?
The six new drop-off/pick-up locations were chosen based on their high rankings by hundreds of parents who participated in our bussing survey.

Does my student have to take the bus both before and after school?
No. Students may only periodically need to take the bus TO school or home FROM school. They are not required to ride both before and after school. Be sure to mark the correct space on the CMH Bussing Application.

What bus company does CMH use?

First Student, Inc. because of their commitment to safety and efficient operations.

We already used the bus, has my route changed?
Families that reside in the New Berlin and Waukesha School Districts will still receive bussing via those districts as they have been. This service has not changed.
  • Ridership Code of Conduct

Ridership is not guaranteed and is only available as long as there is vacancy on the assigned bus. Ridership can be revoked if the bus exceeds capacity with entitled riders or if payment for the service becomes delinquent. If that happens, a prorated ridership fee will be refunded. If a student loses ridership due to misconduct, there will be no refund of the fee.
Student behavior expectations as described in the Catholic Memorial Handbook apply on all busses. Code of conduct violations will be addressed in the same manner as outlined in the handbook.

Additional Bussing Options

Additional bus transportation options for families that live closer to the Waukesha School District or New Berlin School District bus routes are pay-to-ride programs. You can add your student to one of their bus pickup/drop-off top locations. Information and forms for those pay-to-ride options are listed below.
