Catholic Memorial’s core value of Caritas in Omnibus — “Charity in all things” — calls us to live lives of service, compassion, and leadership. In your essay, reflect on how you have embodied this value through your community service and leadership experiences.

Please address the following in your response:

• - Describe a meaningful community service activity you have been involved in and explain why it was important to you.
• - Share how you demonstrated leadership in this experience — whether by guiding others, taking initiative, or inspiring change.
• - Reflect on how living out Caritas in Omnibus through service and leadership has shaped who you are today and how it will influence your future.

Your essay should be clear, specific, and personal, showing both the impact you have made and how the experience has impacted you.

The Eagle Scholarship honors Catholic Memorial’s history of service and sacrifice by recognizing students whose family member has served or currently in the military, law enforcement, or firefighting professions.

In your essay, please:

• - Share how your family member's career of service has influenced your life and shaped your values.

• - Reflect on the lessons you have learned from their example of courage, discipline, and commitment to others.

• - Describe how their service has inspired you in your own choices, character, or future goals.

Your essay should highlight both the personal impact of their career on your life and how it has encouraged you to live out Catholic Memorial’s values in your own way.

The Fr. Schmelzer Scholarship is awarded to a current parishioner of St. Anthony on the Lake who demonstrates faith, service, and commitment to community.

In your essay, please:

• - Share your achievements in academics, activities, or other areas that are meaningful to you.

• - Describe your involvement in community service and how it has shaped your values.

• - Reflect on how your connection to St. Anthony on the Lake has influenced your faith journey and personal growth.

Your essay should highlight both your accomplishments and your commitment to serving others as a member of the St. Anthony on the Lake parish community.

The Joan L. MacGregor Music Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Joan MacGregor, a long-time Catholic Memorial music, band, and choir teacher who inspired generations of students through her passion for music.

In your essay, please:

• - Share why music is important to you personally.

• - Reflect on how music has influenced your life, growth, or sense of community.

• - Describe how you hope to continue exploring music during your time at Catholic Memorial.

Your essay should express your personal connection to music and the role it plays in your life.

The Youth Program Scholarship recognizes students who have taken part in Catholic Memorial youth programs such as Jr. Crusaders, Kids Cast, STEM Challenge, Future Leaders Forum, or other CMH activities.

In your essay, please:

• - Describe your experience in a CMH youth program and why it was meaningful to you.

• - Share how participating in the program has impacted your personal growth, skills, or interests.

• - Reflect on how this experience has influenced your goals for high school and beyond.

Your essay should highlight the positive impact of your CMH youth program involvement and how it has helped prepare you for your future as a Crusader.
