Nineteen CMH Students from Class of 2025 to Compete in Collegiate Athletics
As the class of 2025 celebrated graduation on Friday, May 23, many will now begin preparing to compete in collegiate athletics for the coming 2025-2026 season. Nineteen members of the Class of 2025 plan to participate in a sport in college. That accounts for 14% of the graduating class, more than doubling the national average of 6% of high school graduates moving on to compete in collegiate athletics.
“This is a testament to our programs, our coaches, and our culture here at Catholic Memorial,” CMH Athletic Director, Matt Bergan, said. “This is especially a testament to these student-athletes. Each of these students are an excellent example of what it means to be a student athlete. They put in the extra work, are leaders on their teams, and are outstanding representatives of CMH. We are all very proud of them and their accomplishments.”
The following are the Class of 2025 students competing in a college sport next school year:
- Ellana Brown – Northern Kentucky University, Swim and Dive
- Lucia Brown – University of Indianapolis, Volleyball
- Marvanous Butler-Brown – Augustana University, Football
- Adeline Goedheer – Bradley University, Volleyball
- Martell Harris – Iowa Western, Football
- Brady Huettl – St. Bonaventure University, Swim & Dive
- Hallie Koltz – St. Olaf College, Basketball
- Maxton Maciosek Arent – UW-Eau Claire, Swim and Dive
- Alex McQuestion – UW-Lacrosse, Swim and Dive
- MJ Mitchell – Iowa Western, Football
- Lucas Mork – Hamline University, Baseball
- Sydney Pendowski – Colorado School of Mines, Softball
- Analena Peterson – Eastern Illinois University, Track & Field
- Patrick Reilly – Lakeland University, Soccer
- Lili Ryan – Carthage College, Cross Country
- Owen Strebig – University of Notre Dame, Football
- Ben Walter – University of Dubuque, Football
- Marek Wawrzyniakowski – UW-Stevens Point, Baseball
